Joel Fisher, PhD is Wine Instructor for the Culinary Arts Department, Art Institute of California-Los Angeles and conducts wine tasting and wine-and-food pairings throughout Southern California.

Bill Gotti is the owner of Victor's Restaurant in Hollywood and, as a wine instructor/wine consultant/wine appraiser, has conducted numerous wine tastings and wine-and-food pairings in the Los Angeles area for almost 30 years.

Winevineanddine was initiated by veteran restauranteur Bill Gotti, former wine manager for Greenblatt's on Sunset and current owner of Victors in Hollywood and Joel Fisher, wine columnist for the Culinary Connection of the Chefs de Cuisine Association of California, as well as wine writer for Pattersons Beverage Journal; instructor of wine for the Culinary Program of the Art Institute of California-Los Angeles and organizer of wine tastings and wine dinners throughout Southern California.

The purpose behind winevineanddine is to create a vehicle for conducting entertaining and educational wine tastings and dinners. We prefer not to host extravagent events because we wish to provide quality programs not parties.

For those events partnered with a specific restaurant, we all agree on the theme, and then the menu. Once that is accomplished Bill and Joel match the wines with the menu.
